"Because" was written by Lennon and recorded as a three-part harmony by Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison, overdubbed three times to make nine voices in all. It originally appeared on the Abbey Road album. A vocals-only version is included on the Anthology 3 album and is a glorious example of the haunting beauty of perfect harmonizing.
